Nescafe introduces ‘Drink First & Stay Strong Together’
KUALA LUMPUR: NESCAFÉ has introduced its latest aspirational movement, ‘Ngopi Dulu & Kekal Kental Bersama’, as a tribute to the strong spirit and perseverance of Malaysians in facing the challenges of daily life.
This campaign aims to celebrate the real-life stories of people from various backgrounds who continue to step forward with confidence and determination, whether for the sake of family, community or personal dreams.
As part of the initiative, NESCAFÉ also launched a song titled ‘Kental Bersama’ sung by famous singer and songwriter, Black Hanifah.
This song is inspired by the stories of Malaysians’ perseverance and their struggle to achieve their dreams, thus depicting the spirit of unity that unites the country.
“NESCAFÉ is not just coffee. It has long been a loyal companion of Malaysians through thick and thin,” said Nestlé Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Juan Aranols.
“The values contained in the ‘Ngopi Dulu & Kekal Kental Bersama’ initiative are a tribute to the fighting spirit of Malaysians that has never faded in order to develop the country. We invite everyone to join this movement that is full of strength, unity and hope.”
The campaign also features three inspiring individuals who reflect the spirit of ‘stay strong’, namely Dr. Madhu, a figure known as ‘Dr. Teddy Bear’, who dedicates his time to providing free healthcare to the homeless in Kuala Lumpur; Kak Dell, a Grab driver and tutor who is determined to pursue her dream of becoming a writer; and Black Hanifah herself, who draws on her humble origins and love for family as a source of inspiration for her music.
All three of them appear in the music video for ‘Kental Bersama’ as symbols of the strength and perseverance shared by Malaysians in various aspects of life.
“The song ‘Kental Bersama’ was born from the stories of Malaysians themselves,” said Black Hanifah. “The lyrics reflect our hopes and struggles for our families, communities and personal dreams. I am grateful to be given the opportunity to be part of this movement because it reminds us that true strength exists when we remain strong together.”
At the same time, NESCAFÉ also introduced its latest innovation, NESCAFÉ Triple Shot, as part of the campaign. This product is specially created to cater to the tastes of Malaysian coffee enthusiasts who prefer a stronger and more robust coffee flavour.
“Being part of the Malaysian people’s life journey means we are always committed to meeting their needs,” said Nestlé Malaysia Ready-to-Drink Business Executive Officer, Norkhayati Mohamed Hashini.
“The launch of NESCAFÉ Triple Shot is a testament to our commitment to innovation that is relevant to the lifestyles of Malaysians today. NESCAFÉ is not just a beverage, but a source of strength and unification for us all.”
The ‘Ngopi Dulu & Kekal Kental Bersama’ movement emphasises the role of NESCAFÉ not only as the coffee brand of choice for Malaysians, but also as a symbol of unity, strength and fighting spirit that is the heart of the country’s progress.
