Golden flowers as dowry, a special surprise for Erra Fazira – Ezwan Zain

SUBANG: The husband of famous actress and singer Erra Fazira, Ezwan Zain, revealed that the gold flowers used as dowry at their wedding were a special surprise planned for Erra.

According to Ezwan, Erra did know about the use of gold dinars, but did not expect them to be arranged in the form of a vase containing 24 pieces of gold dinars.

“I have many surprises prepared for Erra today, including a dowry of gold flowers. She knew about the gold dinars, but didn’t know that she would be given 24 pieces. There is no symbolic number 24, just to make up for the 100 gram weight,” he said.

He said this during a press conference after the acceptance ceremony here on Friday.

Meanwhile, Erra, or her real name is Fazira Wan Chek, 51, said almost all of their wedding preparations were handled by Ezwan.

“For previous weddings, I was the one who did most of the organizing. But this time, it can be said that Ezwan handled 95 percent of the entire preparations,” he said.

Commenting on the honeymoon plans, Erra informed that it had to be postponed until after Aidilfitri since she would be involved in filming and a concert in February.
Earlier, Erra happily became the wife of Ezwan in a marriage ceremony which took place at 9.19 am on Friday.
